Chris Seaman is President and Principal Broker for First Choice Business Brokers of San Diego. Chris has lived in San Diego County over 40 years and began his career as a scientist, earning a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, San Diego in 1992. He then joined a San Diego high-tech company where he developed and commercialized several innovative products for the aerospace, electronic, and medical device industries. He became executive Vice-President in charge of business operations including product development, commercialization, intellectual property, quality control, manufacturing, licensing negotiations, and sales. Chris founded the First Choice Business Brokers San Diego office in 2006 in order to leverage his business skills as an intermediary in business sales and acquisitions and has since been involved in hundreds of business sales transactions. Chris is a licensed CA real estate broker (Lic# 01525675), an active member of the California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), and is a California Certified Business Broker (CBB). Chris and his wife Sandy live in San Diego where they have raised 3 children.

Mitch McGinley is a Business Consultant and former Hospitality Executive with over 20 years of experience in operations and finance. After 7 years with Omni Hotels, Mitch became the GM of a boutique hotel and elevated it to become the highest-rated hotel in San Diego on one of the world’s largest booking sites. He eventually left the hotel industry to pursue his dream of owning a yoga studio with his wife Karson. Together they owned and operated Happy-U Yoga Center for over 6 years. After successfully selling the studio, Mitch was moved to help other small business owners realize their own potential through sales, acquisitions and mergers. Mitch has a Master’s Degree in Business, and is passionate about helping people achieve their dreams.
Originally from San Diego, Matt has both west and east coast roots. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in Business Management/Entrepreneurship from East Carolina University in 2004, Matt came back to San Diego where his professional career has been growing since. Entrepreneurial endeavors have always been Matt's passion. After opening and helping open dozens of new businesses, he furthered his expertise by obtaining his Masters degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
Upon graduation Matt worked for several external consulting firms with a variety of business clients on projects such as change management, leadership development, employee assessments, reputation management, sales, marketing, and advertising. Allison Vanslager has been the team's licensed assistant since 2015. She has a BA from CSUSM along with multiple certifications in various disciplines. She has experience in Business Management and Human Resources. Allison enjoys growing and supporting our team of Agents, along with working with buyers and sellers of small businesses throughout California. Her goal is to provide superior customer service to our clients and to streamline intra-office processes and communication.
